Pulsing Abdomen!

I was laying in the bath, with the water only reaching up to my waist. I noticed my stomache was pulsating in time with my heart beat. It was most prominant where my belly button is, as it had water in it. I have noticed this before when reclined back. I am slim and quite toned, but cannot see any superficial arteries/veins.

My question is this-:
Although the umbilical cord is cut at birth, does a blood supply still flow towards the navel?

The blood supply to the navel is small, and almost imperceptable. You are thin and toned and almost certainly seeing pulsations transmitted from a normal abdominal aorta.(main artery of body)

Swellings of the aorta (aneurysms) can occur, but are not common, and almost always in the age group over 65.
I had that before, thought it was very strange!!

Thank you sqad617, I was not concerned, merely curious. I fit (not thin) and toned, so thought it was more to do with that.
Thanks sophie_1003, nice to know there are others like me, makes me feel normal again.
