At the end of the day, a few people have left the site and are not posting anymore. I've always got on with all of them , without ever being desperately close, but then I'm not on the site more than 2 or 3 times a day, and so can't contribute to the more chatty threads.
What is apparent is that this group of about 15 people contributed to about 80% of the B&S threads. So there is a lot less traffic on B&S these days, but it would be supremely arrogant to imagine that the answerbank is making changes to appease a tiny fraction of its audience. We all know that it ditched chatterbank a long time ago, and if it wanted to be a chatroom it could be. All they're trying to do ids to keep it a Q&A forum as it was always intended to be. I never objected to the chatty threads, and really enjoyed contributing, but the B&S clique who have left somehow imagine that they are the heart and soul of the site, even though there are over 25 other categories that they may not have posted in. I would simply say, stay or leave, it's entirely your choice. I enjoy your company but end the harping on, and arrogance.
