what do you think of comedy t-shirts along the lines of fcuk, spoof logos such as paraletic instead of paramedic (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=15687&item=8305911338&rd=1),  ******** instead of skittles (you get the idea), 'free hand cream' with an arrow pointing downwards, etc.

are they funny or are they simply godawful?

My personal opinion is they are a bit tacky and I would never wear one!

Do 'FCUK' wearers think it's still funny? OK, it made you look twice when it first came about, but to carry it on for this long is just plain BORING!

I certainly agree with the posts here in that I think we have to be careful with slogans that will be seen by kids or people that could take offence, and I would never wear a controversial one on a busy high street for example. However, I must admit I saw a t-shirt once that I was tempted to buy (to wear to a nightclub where only adults would be) that said

Front... "Who needs big t*ts"

Back..."When you've got an a*se like this"

Don't know why since it's so banal... it just made me chuckle!

I only have one that still makes me chuckle. It's designed for motorcyclists (in warmer countries, to be honest) and says, on the back, "If you can read this, the missus has fallen off!"

Some are funny like the one I saw recently that had a picture of a canabis leaf with a legalise conkers slogan. ;-)

People really need to relax a bit more in this world. Slogan t-shirts are designed to make people look twice, laugh, or even be a bit shocked by it. Being in design myself, i understand alot of thought and imagination have gone into coming up with these designs. There is controversy everywhere we look now, surely spoof logos on clothing are such a big deal? FCUK and French Connection happen to be a very successful company, if there clothing ranges were so "bad taste" then why are they doing so well? If they are worn by the correct age, and in a place where it can cause no violence or controversy then it is ok. And as for young children...they shouldnt know what FCUK represents anyway!
