Only 2 episodes left now, to clear up why and how Sam is "in" 1973..and Im still nowhere near working it out, each episode seems to point towards a possibility, and then nest week it veers off elsewhere.


loads of classic lines in tonights episode....all from Gene Hunt....and I doubt any can be printed here...but where he was having a go at Sam, calling him a mulltitude of names, with French, Manchester Utd supporter thrown in for good measure was priceless

I'm equally baffled but Sam seems to have lost his girl friend Maya in 2007 and I wonder whether he'll wake up to discover that the nurse who has been caring for him for weeks is Annie. He may even find that the surgeon who has been looking after him is Gene - if so, Heaven help him!

As soon as Sam was seen staring at Layla I knew she would turn out to be Maya's mum.

It was great to feature a bit of 1973 'current affairs' with the Ugandan Asians, and the power cut scene was brilliant (oh how I remember those days!!!)

I have got to the stage where I am enjoying Gene & Sams exchanges more than the story itself, though..I am no longer thinking about theories ;o)

The things Gene came out with were priceless, and Philip Glenister delivers perfectly. A spin off has been mentioned ~ 'Ashes To Ashes' which will feature Gene, and I am sure we will have some more of those classic lines. The one about fingers and lepers tickled me..shameful as I am!

God, i love this show so much! I really wish they were gonna do a thirds series because i still think it has masses of potential!
You RB, will have to sit tight and just wait for another 2 weeks and all will be revealed, i hope!!!!!!!!!! Lets hope its not one of them daft endings where we still don't have a clue! LOL
