The hounding of Prince Harry continues.

Apparently, when told he was to be posted to Iraq he did what any normal young man would do - he went out and got very p*ssed. For which he will be given a dressing down by his commanding officers. Acoording to Sky News "The 22-year-old hit the headlines again in recent weeks after he came out of a trendy London club and fell over." - Well I for one would be demanding my money back if I had been to a club all night and had not fallen out of it.

Now I fear the boy's drinking disorder might see him bullied when he is in Iraq.

Do you agree we should give the poor lad a break?

As long as he's doing it on his army wage he can get as hammered as he wants. At least he's showing more personality than his increasingly horse-faced brother.

Then again, a friend of mine used to work in Boujis and although she never spoke to either prince she did testify that their mates were a bunch of braying kn*bheads.

I'm not sure what she was expecting to find in Boujis but there you go.
Definitely, hes a young lad, its not like he's the gonna be the next king so i think the press need to get off his case and realise he's doing what most young blokes his age do.! I think he's great!
Why does "any normal young man" need to go out and get very ******.

That is the reason for most of today's violent and boorish behaviour.

It is certainly not normal, but appalling
I may come across as rather pompous Gromit but what the hell here is my slant on things.

Prince Harry is not only a Prince of the Realm, but he is also an Officer and a Gentleman, and his regiment is the Blues and Royals, part of the Household Cavalry.

With all this in mind he should be expected to behave in such a way as not to bring disgrace upon his family, his Rank or his Regiment.

The secret is not to be found out, but being who he is, this would be almost impossible.
Good luck to him, he's off to war and wants front line action, go and get drunk kid, it might be your last chance.
And anyway, like father like son,
James Hewett is a cad and a bounder too.
mankymonky

Whilst it's well known that I'm a lover of conspiracy theories and am a regular reader of gossip mags, I have to report that (unfortunately) Harry's dad could not possibly be Jams Hewitt as he did not meet Diana until well after Harry was born.

Furthermore, have a look at pictures of Peter Phillips (Princess Anne's son) at Harry's age, and then look at pictures of Prince Harry - they're spit images of each other...

...which can only mean that...ermm...Princess Anne is Prince Harry's father.

Good Lord...what have I stumbled on here???
anotheoldgit is right. If you take the Queen's commission you have to decide whether you can maintain the qualities required. All ranks can celebrate and let off steam but it all depends where you are. Many aircrew officers in WW2 had a whale of a time in the officers' mess when no flying operations were imminent, sooty footprints on the ceiling, etc. That was to relieve the tension which built up because of the daily facing up to what might up happen tomorrow.
I agree we should give him a break but I also agree that he could choose more wisely where he gets drunk.

08012006, I don't think young men get any drunker now than they used to though. For the most part the violent and boorish people around are violent and boorish with or without alcohol.
I agree with the oldgit 100%
