8 Answers
my boyfriend was rather drunk last night and rung me at 2:30am. we ended up talking on the phone for an hour and a half. he really opened up and was telling me how he wants a future with me - house, kids etc. :) this morning he rung me apologising and saying that i should ignore him cuz he was talking rubbish. i think he is a bit embarrassed but i dont know what to think now. he has asked me to go to his later today. men r so confusing!

But defintitely just raise the subject and ask him if he meant any of it..i wouldn't pressure into setting specifics like kids, or when to get engaged but just to find out what his thoughts are on the future...

Blokes aren't always confusing - just pay no attention to any texts received after around 11pm on Fri and Sat nights!! If he says he was talking rubbish when he was sober then he obviously doesn't want to talk about it and I think you will be backing him into a corner if you raise the subject. Totally agree with 4get on this one - i've lost count of the number of texts I've received off people who are drunk in charge of a mobile. Can't pay attention to any of them!
Oh dear, I have had too much experience of drunken texts from men wanting the earth ! Alas - it is very rarely true and they end up regretting all they have text, which hurts.
However - they do say that people tell the truth when they are drunk - so maybe deep down that is what he does want, but male pride always gets in the way ! So its easier for men to deny it and 'blame' their moment of weakness on the booze lol...whichever way, please try and take it with a pinch of salt.....sorry, it still hurts.
