Thin an light lenses for your specs!

HI, wondering if any one knows of a cheaper way of getting your lenses thinned on your glasses, specsavers want �60. I have a really high perscription so they are really thick and heavy. I bought really nice glasses but couldn't afford the thinning.

�60 sounds reasonable. My wife is so shortsighted lens cost about �300. Anything cheaper and she looks like Mr Magoo.

oldfashioned is right for once!!! I have the same problem and pay anything up to �300. Last time I went to Vision Express, ok but Boots is best, but expensive. Asda also do a reasonable price, you need to shop around.
