Microsoft Word
5 Answers
Hi, I've only just bought a laptop and I want to know what is the most cost effective way to install Microsoft Word.
I'm still learning the ropes when it comes to home computing as I'm used to having these things already on my work computer!
Any advice would be appreciated.

Or find a friend who has a pirate copy ...
To buy Microsoft Office will cost you hundreds of pounds (Yes I paid nearly 450, before anyone shouts re the pirate copies - I found them later!!)
Unless you are a student and/or teacher in which case you can get a cheaper version - still nearly 100 quid though.,

This is the 2007 edition Microsft Office, with it's keygen. Its the copy I use and it all works fine.
You will need to download a torrent client first, and I can recommend BitLord

Yes 450 is legalised robbery - use Open Office. In a PC Pro review late last year they rated it better than the Microsoft version
Don't forget for your 450 it will only work on one machine , Open Office has no licensing issues so put it on all your machines and your friends and relatives as well
... three cheers for Open Office Hip Hip......
