problem with internet

Help i have a problem with my internet, I use Firefox to connect to the internet, and never had any problems with it, but just recently everytime i connect to the computer, another page opens trying to sell me things or advertising porn, i have two children and advertising porn is the last thing i want them to see, i run f-secure on my computer, plus spybot and ad aware and they seem to find nothing, i have also deleted and re installed firefox but nothing seems to work, can someone please give me any ideas or software that will put this problem right. thanx

ive tried this one, its scanned and found a few problems, but im still having the same problem that i mentioned about, its driving me mad now lol

Have you tried seeing what your homepage is in Firefox, open Tools/options and look at what is in the box labelled homepage. After making a note of what it is delete it anyway and retype a homepage in, I use www.google.co.uk
