*** please dont patronise me with your answer this is just getting something off my chest****

I have a small business and recently i gave a person credit, he has been dealing with me for the past 4 years and on this basis i agreed to raise his credit limit!!

he came in a few weeks ago and took his biggest load yet, but has since vanished off the face of the earth. the address i have always had turns out to be his old address and he wont answer his phone!!

any way i have since found out where he lives and have sent the debt collectors in to get my money.

but heres the problem!!!......... after doing some snooping work to found out about him and his mindset i have only found out he is a convicted peado!!!!!

this has made me more angry that i gave a dirty b*stard credit and let him gain my trust!!!!!

if this was your problem how would you deal with it?????

truthfully...... not PC!!!

Bednobs....stop. You're scaring me. My lovely innocent daughter is 15 so I do not, under any circumstances want to think that 15 year olds have sex....ok?

I do agree though (again) the law is the law but having sex with an under aged developed girl who actually resembles a woman cannot be compared to having sex with a child.
what the hell is going on with all this agreeing?? yikes, we'll be having a love in soon. Anyway, seeing as that i did have sex when i was 15, with a 15 year old, i cant really lie and pretend i don't think it's ok!
That doesnt make it right though bednobs
the reason the law is there is protect young girls who, although they may be physicaly able to have babies, they are far to emotionaly immature to do so
nope, that is true, it dosent make it right. however, it wasn't my intention to turn this into a debate about the age of consent. My original point is/was that "convicted paedo" covers a multtitude of sins, some of which seem very small compared to others. Just because someone is convicted or put on the sex offenders register, dosent tar everyone with thew same brush, does it? there are degrees, as in eveerything,

to take my speeeding ananlogy, there is a huge difference between going 31 mph in a 30 mph zone and doinf 110 in a 20 mph zone outside a school at chucking out time
btw, i also think that being a convicted paedo "dosen't make it right" that anyone can come up to you and kickbox you, as you are suggesting in your original post. You seem yo care a lot about the rights and wrongs of the law, but have no trouble with advocating assault by random strangers for previous wrongdoings!
Hi rugeleyboy,
Forget the other answers.... the issue was not whether it was a consenting 15 yr old or not!
This guy has no moral ethos!

Put fly-posters all over the area he lives, stating he's a convicted paedo and cannot be trusted in business! May not be legal, but what the hey!

Follow the legal route for claiming your money, try small claims court.

Damn him and any other paedophile!

Shame on anyone on here that thinks they can 'brush off' this serious offence by claiming it could have been a consenting 15 year old!!!!!!
Rugeley I truly sympathize with you and I'm sorry you got taken for a ride. I hope this guy didn't rub you off a lot.

Let this be a lesson to you, Never Ever Trust Anyone!
Don't every do it again.
well it could have been!

i think that a 16 or 17 year old having sex with a 15 year old, whilst it is undoubtedly illegal, does not make him a dangerous pervert, to be feared by anyone under the age of 16.

it would still have him down as 'convicted paedo' if caught though.

there is a world of difference between this and say a 30 or 50 year old man, and a 9 year old.

the point is - what was this man actually convicted of?

having sex with his childhood sweetheart when he was 16 or raping a 4 year old?
You stated he was 'baby sitting for a friend'.

Not many 15 year olds I know need 'baby sitting'!!

Make your mind up!
rugeley, you could write him a letter saying you know and you wonder if his neighbours know about him?

though i stress you must find out what he actually did before you go accusing him and telling neighbours- many people have a problem seeing things for what they are, and will see news like this in black and white, regardless of circumstances.

if it turns out it was a 'childhood sweetheart' type thing, just threaten to tell them, but dont!
this fear will be enough to make him pay up
This guy is a peadophile, innocent until proven guilty is not his case, the fact that you say he is "convicted" means a judge has decided so. There is a difference between underage sex, which teenagers would be done for, and peadophilia, which is where the judge decides if a man of a certain age has manipulated a younger person into maintaining physical contact. 15, 16 and 17 year old girls even, are not mentally ready for sexual relationships, even though often physically so, and older guys often take advantage of this. Back to your question Rugeleyboy, I can understand your rage and disgust, but the legal way is the only way, you will gain nothing from giving this guy a battering, I do however think everyone in the area he lives should know his filthy past.
