Backing Groups

I am doing a quiz about singers and their backing groups.Does anyone know where I can find lists of these? Am not too good with my computer and have been trying on google but can't find anything (some of them go back to 60s and 70s)Thanks

Hi Evsajo, I can't help with where to find them, but I am assuming (correct me if I am wrong) that you have the singer and have to identify their backing group in which case if you Google them by putting in say 'Johnny & " " ' it will bring up potential answers such as Johnny & the Hurricanes. Alternatively, I know you probably like to try to find all the answers yourself, but if all else is lost ask here I am sure someone will be able to help

Thanks Jules, but its a quiz which gives a cryptic clue for the backing group and you have to get the leader as well!!!I I have only just received the quiz so I will keep trying,just thought someone may know a website. I've got some answers and they are very strange groups,not the well known ones. Thanks anyway, best wishes

Thanks Badlad.Have got that but once again you need to know the lead singer and i or 2 that i have solved have been very obscure groups. I will keep trying anyway.
