ceramic kiln help

New to ceramics. Got a secondhand hobbytech hd40 top loader. Can anyone tell me what its approx top temperature of 3.1kw gives me. (It doesn't have a temperature gauge), just a control knob marked 1 2 3 4 and full.

Buy a set of ceramic cones which melt and bend over at specified temperatures. Then experiment with the kiln at full power.
