Does anyone know if the claims for lion dung pellets really can keep cats from the garden.

Not sure, but I'd hate to have to follow one round with a bucket and shovel to catch some to find out!

Either that or you'd need one h*ll of a litter tray.

When I used to work near Whipsnade, many of the locals used to swear that it worked - but the smell of the pellets were worse than anything the cats could have done.

Haha!! If I saw Lion dung on someones garden I wouldn't be going near you never quite know what weird and wonderful pets people keep these days.

I read once that it works on the theory that the cat will sense that the dung is from a really big cat and be scared away.

When was the last time any cat did what it was supposed to do?

The sonic deterrents are seemingly good, and it won't stink out the street.

My next door neighbour has tried lion dung pellets.....don't waste your money they didn't work! He has now removed one of the fencing panels that separate our 2 gardens and replaced it with see through netting, the reason being is that my Border Collie barks like mad at cats, and when he is out there and that is a good part of the day, cats won't come anywhere near..........................................I'm thinking of sending a bill for his services, Ha Ha!
