This was all collected together in the great library at alexandria. As the city fell, it was all moved to the Hall of Records - somewhere in egypt. It is this Hall that is reputed to under the sphinx. If so, the information would provide details on how the pyramids were built, if atlantis did exist (ie is really antarctica), and provide information used by the mayans, incas and aztecs that was way ahead of their times. Lets hope it is there and they can give us the solution to making beleivable toupees (amongst other things).
I saw a tv program a few years back on this..
The american psychic mentioned a cave under the sphinx because he'd read about it in a journal from a french archeologist. the journal claimed that they had found a stone covering a small cave at the base of one of the feet. a british researcher went on a quest to find more info and met an old Egyption who claimed to be the son of a worker on the original frenchmans dig. he repeated the story and said he could lead the team to the exact spot......
After a few hours digging they excavated a tunnel approx 3ft square 5ft deep going under the sphinx.
Drumroll....
inside it was a boot and a broken belt buckle cerca 1900 in design.
The tunnel ended, so did the expedition.
On a side note, the archive mentioned above was supposed to be buried in the dead sea (now underwater, but due to be above water level in around a hundred years or so) and is supposed to contain a weapon capable of destroying mankind!!!
Its my belief the weapon is just proof that god never existed, thus starting global wars and panic.
Phew!
