Mondeo Starting problem

I have problems in starting my car. It's 1999, 5 door, hatchback with 3 button remote key. I checked all the fuses and are fine. There is no sound of motor when I try the ignition. All indicators work normal however.

A couple of ideas...
Does it have an immobiliser that isn't disengaging?
Is the battery flat or the starter motor jammed?

Many thanks for the response...I suppose, that was due to moisture . When I tries it last night, it got started in the first go.

It could be a bad electrical connection in the ignition switch
