Can only agree with the above postings, mind you there are still plenty of narrow minded men around who think your only going there for another thing, and i'm not on about drinking!!?
The amount of times i've been with mates who have noticed a women come into a pub on her own, then they start nudging each other as if they have a right to go and chat her up or start staring at her is no ones business, it must be quite intimidating at times for women to go into certain pubs/clubs, but the ''confidence factor'' and ''speaking your mind'' are two ingredients to have if your not to feel intimidated, as for a bit ''sad''. not at all, you go where you want anytime you feel like it
