lcd screen

my 4 year old grandson decided to polish his mums lcd screen now the screen has black/grey blotches on the inside of the screen. Is there a remedy.

you could try it tomorrow ... and see how it looks .... I've seen "brused" screens heal after a few hours - but not often

I'm assuming that we are not talking laptop here?
If not .... about �150.00 (give or take - or wait for the sales).
Sounds a little glib I know ... with a 4 year old �150 is a chunk of dosh.

The only help I could offer is to look for a second hand or refurbished LCD or that a CRT monitor is much cheaper ....
