Hi
My usb ports are not work so am using my touch pad.
Unfortunately my touch pad is not working. Does anyone know the keys to make the touch pad work.
Will be very grateful as cannot use the computer.

As I said - there will (should) either be a touchpad option in control panel - or there may be a utility in the start meny that switches the touchpad on/off
I've even seen it be a bios option ... but that's rare
failing that .....
if you have a USB mouse ... did it come with a ps2 adapter?
failing that can tou get hold of one?

both ports are broken was relying only on the touchpad.

Have taken the battery out of the laptop for a while. Inserted the battery and yes the touchpad is working.
Imagine, a simple thing like taking the battery out works.
thanks for your help
