My child wants a tattoo but he is only 13 he might change his mind he might not. The only time i would interfere would be where he should get it done, I am glad the age limit is 18 though, gives you a little time to think about it.

Well if that's the case I shall make very sure not to embarrass my children by always remaining well shod in their company! Although I really don't agree that they will particularly go out of fasion and children are embarassed by their parents anyway. Also, I think it seems to matter to you what children think of you far more than it does to most adults so with luck I really won't care either way!

I got one years ago with my wifes name on it. Then we got divorced. My new wife has a different name. Luckily the tattoo has smudged & faded over the years.
