i have ask for a mac code from orange, they said i should receive it within 5 working days, why couldnt they just give it to me over the phone?

Orange may or may not have been able to instantaneously issue the MAC but in any event the Ofcom Code of Practice for the Broadband Migrations Process allows for a notification period of five working days...

O2 gave me mine right away when I asked for it. Maybe that just orange is set up.
