Will Sirius Black come back?

I've been thinking about the way Sirius Black died in OOTP, and was wondering what your opinion would be and theory, to see if Sirius is dead or alive and how would he come back.

I expect so, as I expect the parents to show up. In the "order of the Phoenix" people that were supposedly dead were "behind an arch" in the mysteries section in the ministry of magic. Sirius was said to have died, but the body was not very evident. We keep hearing that Harry's parents were killed, but there is very little actual information forthcoming. Rather, it seems that there is a great conspiracy to keep information from Harry. Luna wanted to investigate the arch, but they never seemed to get around to that, did they. Also, we are told that Luna read the Quibbler inverted but no one asked her why. However, she tells us that there are things which reveal truths when read inverted at the same time that we are told that she reads the quibbler in that fashion. I expect the parents and sirius to return, but that is just me.

I seriously do not think that Harry's parents are alive!!! They were both killed by Avada Karavada. According to Book 1, when Hagrid brought Harry on the Flying bike of Sirius', he came straight from the Potter's house. Sirius and Black Both seen the potters dead. As for Black tho, He may have never been hit by Avada Karavada. I think that he jusped out of the way and dove into the veil. Now I am not sure yet what the Veil will do to you if U go into it. But I think that it is where the dead go. I just guess that we will have to see what happens.....

I believe he'll be back. I also believe that your question has just ruined the book for those that have yet to read it.

no i think hes a defo goner, just as well as that Gary OLdman aint exactly how I pictured Sirius Black from the book. i thought they would have been better going for someone a bit more brooding perhaps with a dark side to them, possibly Robert Carlyle would have made a much better choice.

I also Believe Lilly and James are gone. There has been no sign otherwise. As to sirius I get the feeling things will be explained.. I believe he will return, to figure out how we'll just have to wait. I also believe Peter Pettigrew will be very important in the next book. Remember his debt to Harry....

I think Harry's parents are gone. dead. I don't think they're coming back. But I do think (and hope) that Siruis will some how come back or contact Harry. I don't know. And I do agree with Quidditch101. I think Pettigrew will play a big part in the next 2 books.

I accept that we are all entitled to our opinions, and I hope your post was a random bit of sarcasm but . . . . . . how can you say that Robert carlisle is more dark and brooding than gary oldman (one of the best actors in the world). I suggest you get out "leon", "State of grace", and "bram stoker dracula" (he played dracula by the way - a bit darker than hamish macbeth the friendly scottish bobby I think you will agree)
