MM Links Game June 2007 (Week 2)
57 Answers
Last week was a great disappointment for those who never ventured out into the countryside. Will I remain bucolic this week or pander to the urbanites? Who knows? Will I be supporting animal rights or will I be out there chasing the fox?
And how about my dose of culture for week 2, shall I return to Shakespeare? Maybe Othello? How about the bit where 'Honest' Iago convinces Cassio to drink more?
Or maybe I shall take my ideas from a newspaper article I read recently about how a Swiss Politician wanted to put huge taxes on all imports of alcoholic beverages.
Just 15 minutes to go now, how will I keep you entertained? Well, I was going to stop and sing my tune, but must fly, things to do.

The rules are the same as before on word length. Each of my chosen link words contains at least four letters and at most eight letters. Stray outside this range and you'll be wasting one of your attempts! The rules were explained in more detail last night by crofter 'The Guardian of the Scores' on this link:

The competition will officially close on Sunday Evening at 7.00pm when crofter will declare my selected words and then apply the same rules of awarding points that have been applied during the MM Link Games in the past.
My second set of four words should appear below at 9.00am and you are invited to predict what I have chosen as the missing links. There is as usual a theme to the four words I will post but there is NO theme to the words I have chosen to go with them, so anything goes.

Oh dear! What do we know about you Gen2? Well for starters you live in Scotland, so I'm assuming you are a WHISKY DRINKER which you may or may not drink in SCOTS PINT measures. I also know you have an interest in birds - notably the penguin - so I guess you might also have an interest in SAND GROUSE too. I don't know too much about your neck of the woods but after your mild reproof about our largely urban suggestions last week I'm assuming that you don't suffer much from HEAVY TRAFFIC or HEAVY INDUSTRY but am hoping you follow cricket, so I'm going for HEAVY ROLLER to complete my choices this week.
