Derek Acorah !!!

I heard recently that one of the guest celebrities on MH said that Derek Acorah had terrible halitosis and that when he goes into one of his "possessions" and starts shouting that everybody has to stop breathing. I read it on some website but can't remember what I googled now so can't find it. Has anybody else seen it ?. Also, is it true that he wears a hairpiece on top?.

For those of you who think Colin Fry is a top bloke.. please read on. He's a 'mentalist' in other words a magician. He use to go by the name Lincoln and was outed as a fake apparently holding a phantom trumpet that he claimed was levitating. Read more here it's very funny. But the guy is a fake.

Yvette's husband who produces the 'most haunted' use to be a film special effects guy, with engineered gadgets etc. I believe he uses this skill to make the noises but apparently Yvette doesn't know this, which is why she's always so freaked out. This comes from a producer friend of her hubby's. The show is fake, as with them all.

Unless the audience are plants how could he know the info he does? Namely specific family names and things tyou couldn't put down to guesswork.

Yes he did. Here is a bit of info from Wikipedia about him:

He pursued a career as a footballer for many years, playing for Liverpool F.C. Reserves and Glentoran, before emigrating to Australia to continue to pursue his footballing career.

On his return to Liverpool, Derek ( Johnson ) Acorah worked for Littlewoods Warehouses as a Security Guard, at their Derby Lane and subsequently J.M Centre buildings, for six years from 1979 to 1985 prior to beginning to practise as a medium, and soon gained a popular local following. His first book 'The Psychic World of Derek Acorah' was co-written with his then manager John G. Sutton. Sutton took Derek to the USA, where he was ISPR-tested in the field and allowed to join the International Society for Paranormal Research (ISPR) headed by Parapsychologist Dr. Larry Montz. Derek 'the fake'Acorah was caught out some time ago by the O'keef bloke.
MH are the biggest bunch of put ons around.
It should be renamed Most Nostrils, because thats all you ever see. Either Yvettes or one of the others. They hear noises and can't shut up long enough to distiquish what it is.
Yvette could scream for England. Carl is a total numpty. he's supposed to be the only Samuri outside Japan. Funny no one can find any record of how exactly he came to get that title. When he's with Stuart its like watching the Chuckle Brothers.
Theres another woman on it, the styalist on the team, and she always says a unseen hand is touching her in some way. Wishful thinking I think.
The only thing I can hand on heart say is good about the whole farce that is MH is that it is a damn good laugh.

I agree with you tigerlily11, it is good entertainment, but it is disappointing because I really believe in the paranormal and before this farce of a programme was found out I really believed what was happening was real. It is just going to make sceptics more sceptical.

Mr Roach knows a medium & she is really good with things about him like a year ago she told him he would have a court case & he would win. Well he had a speeding fine & pleaded not guilty it went to court on tues & was aquitted. How ofetn does that happen. & lots of other spooky things. But She's not so clear with me. She reckons my hubby has the gift but is not using it.

thanks barneypooh, and i also believe there is *something else other than this plane (due to personal experience) but MH makes a mockery of it, true spiritualism is a religion, with a firm faith in jesus,churches, hymns etc, very much like christianity, could you imagine the uproar if this faith or any other was turned into a circus for entertainment

Derek Acorah maybe entertaining to some, but he also has to be the biggest con ever!

Oh, & the way that blonde bird looks into his eyes, believing any of his inane ramblings is just as bad!

If I'm switching channels & happen to come across it, it takes me all of half a minute to turn it off!

He is one of the biggest IDIOTS i have ever seen on t.v. His antics are hysterical, what a fraud. The only time his body gets entered is when he is with his boyfriend.LOL.
