My freaky multi-toed mog this morning demonstrated a new skill - after playing chase with a piece of screwed up paper he then used his opposable thumb to pick it up in one paw and lift it to his mouth. He then jumped on the bed, dropped it from his mouth and proceded to pick it up again in the same way. He kept doing this, transferring it from his paw to his mouth and looking terribly pleased with himself!

I know he's freaky anyway with his big thumbs but actually grasping at something and picking it up with one paw and deliberatly transferring it to his mouth just fascinated me! Next stage in evolution or what!

Anyway just had to share - i was lying on the bed laughing at him and he was looking at me with a look which said "look what I can do Mum?!" It was so funny I was late to work!

He just had to find a use for those big paws. By the time night time comes he will have evolved into a chimp or something.

He's handsome and cuddly looking.

These two are from the same litter. One long haired and one short haired, one short tempered and one laid back.

They are gorgeous - Merlin particularly - I'm a sucker for a long haired mog. She looks extremely comfortable - lady of the manor with a "feed me grapes now - slave" look on her face!

Wolf..... Frankie definately has 'catittude' and Merlin is a beauty....is 'it' a boy or girl? The name is somewhat a oxymoron!

Merlin is a she - that is why I had to add Princess before the Merlin. She had that name when I got her.

If she didn't lie that way on the back of the sofa she would fall off - not a lean, mean hunting machine.

So annavc - are we going to send you wool and stuff for Sam? I need a new cardi.

Sometimes cats are SO clever and other times they are freakishly stupid.

my cat does that, difference is the daft thing usually gets the paper out of the bin.

Good idea but I know from experience that wool would just disappear down his throat!

Maybe I should get him some matchsticks and glue and he could start making models!
