A shock or what!!

A girl I work with is a little rough to put it mildly!!

She plays rugby every weekend along with binge drinking most nights and smoking like a train!!

Last week she was told that she is 7 months pregnant at her scan 3 days later she was told 8 months pregnant, she had the baby the next day after falling down the stairs!! fit and healthy!!!!

She done all that all through her pregnancy and has a healthy baby. Well lets hope it grows up to be healthy as well!!

some expectant mums do everything right and they still loose it! thats life! Sometimes it just seems unfair but she might calm down completely and become a fantastic mum.

One of my friends spent her entire pregnancy in denial (she was 17 at the time) and got drunk every night. She abused her body to the max and had a lovely healthy boy !

I didn't find out till I was 7 and half months gone that I was pregnant, I drank, smoke and partied hard but my son was born healthy and is now a healthy 12 year old and is also extremely brainy!

I think it all boils down to luck and I know I've been incredibly lucky with him!

What I find most amazing is that someone can be 7 months pregnant and not realise!! Didnt she think she was putting on a bit of weight? Couldnt she feel the baby kicking? Didnt she miss her periods?

Pam29 to answer your question I had no idea whatsoever I was pregnant, I was on the pill, I had my periods, no significant weight gain, no pregnancy symptoms at all!

As my doctor said it is unusual but it isn't impossible, there are some women who go into labour without knowing!

As I say I worked with this girl daily along with many other staff and none of us noticed her getting any bigger, she is a little on the fuller figure side. and not really the brightest spark in the fire.

Well the main thing is they are both fit and healthy, we can just hope they both stay that way.
