my friends dog ate two of her herbal sleeping tablets this morning- will it be ok???

Herbal remedies are harmless so your friends dog should be just fine. Dogs eat alot worse!

I would still take the dog to the vet anyway.... or at least ring a poison info line... I had to do that once for a German Shorthaired pointer who'd eaten a cockroach bait.... They told us to give the dog mustard to make it throw up the plastic - the thing is (i only had an expensive wholegrain mustard) he loved it.... hehehe the ratbag licked his lips and tried to get into the jar.... So i totally agree that dogs eat just about anything...
