identify this YA book/

I read this book around 1986. It was a young adult book and the characters
were teens. Two teenagers (male) were the main characters, if I remember
right. One of them had a heart condition--ocassionally his lips would turn
blue. He was gay. I don't remember if the other guy (who narrated the
book)was gay. I remember one line in the book where the gay character,
claiming everyone was a "little bit gay", said that if any man said he
didn't find Cary Grant attractive, he would be lying.

Sorry, but I don't remember much else! Can anyone identify it?

Your best bet would be to try Booksleuth. If you put in what you can remember usually some helpful soul will know the answer. They have found books for me with very little information. Good luck
