I'm 21 and female, and am going on hoilday to Ibiza next week, can anyone recommend a good book? To give you some sort of clue I liked Geisha, Lovely Bones, Lenny McLean's autobiography, Andy McNab, Sleepyhead, thrillers, exciting books!

If you liked "Sleepyhead" try Mo Hayder's "Birdman" (very sick) or Michael Marshall's "The Straw Men" and/or "The Lonely Dead". A bit more of an "out there" suggestion is any of Phil Rickman's "Merrily Watkins" mysteries. (I love them and wish more people would read them). They follow Merrily Watkins, single mum, vicar, and (by Book 2) exorcist through various criminal/supernatural adventures. Very easy to read and exciting. The first book is "The Wine of Angels", but while it helps to read them in order, it's not 100% essential. They're not that well known, so you may have to go to a fairly large store to find them.
Hi again natalie, oooh i loved lovely bones and geisha, have you tried any of the No.1 Ladies Detective Agency series - they're a real easy read and perfect for holiday, ooh and i liked the alchemist and catcher in the rye on holiday. How to be Good by Nick Hornby was another that i liked and my sister rates Harlen Coben for thrillers which i also do, if you're up for a gruesome thriller try the Mermaid's singing by Val Mcdermid - ace ace ace!
