fuzzy screen

my laptop screen is taking to be a little strange flashing and freezing and jumping.much like a tv screen with bad reception. i was told told that its probably a loose wire or cable. does anyone know how much they are and if its a self fix job or am i getting a man in???

if you, proudmary keep on turning ... your screwdriver it's do-able .....no actually it's probably not

most cables have two ends ... so it's 50 50 which end it is likely to be . which means if you are wrong ... you will have totally dismantled your laptop .... to make it worse ... most screens fix using a combination of screws and fiddly clips ... at best you'll break a nail - at worst the case ... and then you've got a problem.

try tapping round the back of the lappy ... can you find a spot that sets the screen off?

then if you feel lucky ... you may be able to undoo a couple of screws and lever your way in using a thin blunt blade.

otherwise pay a local bod to do it
