I'm 16 weeks pregnancy with an aggravating cough/sore throat. I have been told you cannot take any cough medicine/lozengers whilst pregnant. Is this correct, does anyone have any remedies????

I had this when I was about 16 weeks as well, the midwife advised me not to take any cough medicine but said that hot lemonade would help. I thought it was very strange so I heated up some lemonade in the microwave and it actually helped!

Hope you feel better soon xx
try boiled water with honey and lemon.

some cough medicines you can take but ask your pharmacist for advice and always check the bottle
Get some manuka honey, worked wonders for my sore throat. Take a teaspoonful morning and evening.
Anything Tylenol is usually safe
