CRIME : MURDER.
Please can anyone explain to me what the hell CANT BE NAMED FOR LEGAL REASONS means . For christ sake they were old enough to commit the damn crime, so why shouldn't they be named ?.

legally he cant be named as he is under 18,im afraid its the law,and theres nothing you can do about it.
Many murderers under the age of 17 are named and many adults aren't for legal reasons.

The legal reasons could be anything - not necessarily to protect the murderer. It could be to protect siblings, victims, to allow another investigation to continue without prejudice -any number of things.
James Bulger murderers were named if you remember, and they were under 16.
Often the names are witheld during the court case until conviction then released which I think is what happened with the Bulger murderers
i could accuse you of any crime i wanted.

how would you like it then splashed all over the papers the next day?

even though you would be later found innocent in the court case, your name has been dragged through the mud already - and mud sticks
