People jumping to conclusions
36 Answers
I loved my brother very very much so when he died 4 days ago I was devastated. The funeral is tomorrow and there is a lot of people going. I have decided not to go as I know I will not be able to take the emotion of the day and will be too emotional. It is not that I didn't love him and can't be bothered. I will remember him in my own special way tomorrow.
My parents however are very angry and say I am selfish. Why do people always jump to conclusions? Has anyone else been in a similar situation?

( the post where you complained that you father spent more on your brothers care than he did on you and your lifestyle springs to mind) I hope your parents have asked for an investigation as to how he managed to commit suicide whilst under the watchful eyes on doctors etc

He was in care yes and he managed to commit suicide while in care. My parents are doctors themselves and know the workers in the mental home so I doubt they would even consider legal action.I am 18, I had 4 brothers and 1 sister. There's no point asking me about figures and facts that are irrelevant.
