What is the best make of car cd player to buy? I want to buy one for about �100 - �150 and have seen various well known makes, but wondered if someone 'in the know' can recommend a generally good make?

there are a lot of good stereo systems on the market today,kenwood,sony,jvc,etc.go to halfords and see them all on display,and choose the one you like,they even fit it for you.

Funny, everything on that link is over �100.00 which of course is dearer than �60.00

You said 100-150 if you want a good one then thats the price you will need to pay rather than bottom of the line at �60 you get what you pay for. Your best going for Sony or Kenwood, when I changed from my standard factory fitted radio to a Sony even without changing the speakers I noticed a massive difference.
