I'm fairly sure I've just seen on C4 news that tit Prince Edward in a Royal Navy Commander uniform.
What right has he got to wear that?

His mum is the reigning Monarch.

who cares whether he dresses up as a naval commander? You don't think they'd let him actually command a ship in a war? No way. Even Harry isn't allowed to go to war, though he's qualified to do so. So it's just part of the royal fancy dress parade that impresses foreigners and brings in the tourists.

An accident of birth is an expression which basically means it could have been anybody who was spat forth from her maj's vag, but in this instance as opposed to being somebody who has earned the right to wear uniforms it just happens to be the big waste of space and civil list money tit that is Edward!
I always assumed that impersonating an officer, being police or military, was a criminal offence.
I always remember after WW2 and during those days of shortages, my father used his ex-service greatcoat during the winter to keep himself warm on his way to work. But on one occasion he was stopped by a police officer, who told him he could only wear it if he removed the buttons and any other military emblems etc.
