Hi i am looking to get a joint mortgage with my partner, however, I have only been at my current job for 2 months and I am still on my 3 month probation period. Am I likely to get turned down for the mortgage application?

Can we claim for compensation?

I got a mortgage with Halifax when I had only been in my job for 2 months. I just had to show them the letter confirming my employment (which also stated I was on 6 months probabtion).
