Okay, so it's a weird track entailing a scratching noise (with an occasional wail by something or someone) and a voice telling you about how you are transforming, but I like it. Why? Well, I just listen to it whenever something is on my mind. I always finish it feeling much better, for some reason.
"Take on Me" by A-Ha. I am a rock music fan but I love A-Ha (Morten Harket being gorgeous doesn't mean a thing!) and this song brings back some very vivid and happy memories.
Also "On the Beach" by Chris Rea - we played it on the way to the airport in the early hours of a wild and wet morning for our first family holiday abroad and it always reminds me of that.
Sorry to lower the tone, but I lost my virginity whilst "Last Rockers" by Vice Squad was blasting out on the record player.
The song was 2 minutes 38 seconds long.
Think I made it to the second chorus. :-)
Whatever happened to Beki Bondage?
I LOVE Vivaldi's L'Autunno-3 La Caccia (Allegro) When i was a child i had a book and cassette pack of the little mermaid (the old one not this ariel thing) and when the little mermaid heard them all having a ball on the ship this was the song that played on the tape!! I have such wonderful memories spanning from this!! Ive been trying to get hold of a copy of the same book and cassette pack that i had then with no avail!!
bensmum and Iamo - Tears pricked my eyes when I listened to 'Take on me' then - really! It took me back to the eighties, which was my favourite time. Everything seemed so innocent and wonderful then. I was about 21, living at home, going out with friends having fun, had a lovely bf, no mortgage, loads of money.... Oh well!
'Are You In?' by Incubus and 'Steal my Sunshine' by Len because it reminds me of a summer romance in 2002. I miss her lots, I hope she also misses me. :-)
