I have a hedge 14 feet long. It should be about 8
feet high, but is overgrown to about 10 feet. I need
to 'top it out' but only have ordinary hedge-clippers.
Anyone suggest where I can buy a telescopic clipper(preferably electric) which can be angled to trim the
top of the hedge , please ?

I've tried B&Q and Focus; no joy.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to borrow a decent step-ladder and reach it with your existing tool. Easier on the wrists as well.

Thank you, both respondents above.
Part of the problem is that the hedge stands on very
soft and uneven ground. My ladder is a very unsafe
proposition; I've tried it.

Coopers of Stortford seems to have the
not-too-expensive remedy. I shall give it a try. Thanks for your suggestion,Thunderbird. Here's to tidy hedges.....
