Moonshadow - yes, I'm Irish, and although I'm sure there's some Viking and Norman in the mix somewhere (bound to be), my name is very, very Irish.

Although widely celebrated as a feast to Lugh, and by extension his mother Eithne (daughter of Balor), his foster father Manannan Mac Lir, and foster mother Tailtiu, as an animist family we celebrate the harvest festival element. We host a gathering around a large bonfire, and have a ceremonial feast.
Whilst people attending are welcome to practice their religious worship per their convictions in privacy (we're lucky enough to live in the country and have a small holding of forested land), we ask that they all come together at an agreed time and have a bloody good knees up.
