Hi, i part exchanged my car in April and (in a nutshell)
have had nothing but harrasment by letter and phone calls even on Sunday morning from the previous finance company asking for payments.
I must have explained 10 times over the phone and wrote that the settlemment had been paid i even sent them a copy of the cheque by fax as they requested to resolve the issue.
Then we had a default notice and a week after a nasty letter from a debt collections company asking for the money or else.
Today after 5 months of stress we had a letter off them saying they had found the payment were sorry, and offering us 25 as a good will gesture.
Should i accept this or take it further.
Why should they be allowed to treat people like ****
