just found out about smoked mackerel

Just tryed this smoked fish, and oh what joy i love it, just had it with salad and dollops of mayo, anyone got any other tips on what i could do with it, was thinking about kedgeree instead of smoked haddock, anything else thnks

Omega-3 and related oils have a wholly beneficial effect, at least partly due to a 'dampening down' off the interaction between blood platelets and vessel walls.
The incidence of coronary heart disease in Eskimos is low and again this could be in part due to the high proportion of oily fish in their diet.
For the rest of us, EPA is available in capsules, e.g. from Holland and Barrett, and I recommend anybody not taking it to start now.
