I have decided to get another gsd after losing my male dog just before christmas i will be picking him up in two weeks im looking for strong but short names looking for something different any ideas thanks GypsyX
Good luck with your new pup, gypsy. When I got my old boy I settled for Max,a good old traditional GSD name but I did think of calling him AL(sation). Any way what ever you call him I'm surer he'll give you as much pleasure as Max has given me.When you get him you'll have to post some photos, they look so cute when they are pups.
How about a German name - something like Kurt, or Hein.
Or have a look through his pedigree and choose a name of one of his ancestors. What will his pedigree name be?
Im going to meet him mum and dad on saturday the 21st and will get more info from the breeders but the website is www.videxgsd.com so if you would like to look at the pups to help me choose a name i would br grateful GypsyX
Thank you all for your names ,we went to see pups today and met there parents and grandad as well so now its the waitng game as they will not be ready for another 3 weeks there are a few names that have been sugessted we really like but please keep them coming will keep you updated thanks again GypsyX
Thats a coincidence, I was going to suggest the name Ice, as there is a top winning GSD with that name, but thought you might not think it suitable-guess who he belongs to!!!!
You are very lucky, and making me feel broody. I'd love a Shepherd pup, and the Payne's Videx dogs are something special.
Used to have a GSD , we named him Fitz cause when he was a pup he had energetic outbursts which were a bit like he was taking a fit!
Unusual but I loved it!
