I tried these two questions yesterday with no luck,as it is due to be posted this is my last try, The answer is a town or village in dumfries and galloway. 1/robbies glazed poem is here ( meaning rabbie burns) 2/this area has a gem of a mast
There was a poem written on an inn window in Stirling on seeing the ruined castle. I believe the pane of glass was preserved, and could be in one of the many Burns museums , I'm afraid I can't find which one though.
There is a mast in Lowther Hills very near Wanlockhead
where I believe gold and silver was ?mined at one time.
It's a long shot but could this refer to the gem??
