I have, to my knowledge, good eyesight. I wear glasses if I can be bothered for night driving only, though this is not a legal requirement and the glasses are self prescribed.
Now, I don't know if my question is related to a failing eyesight or not but over the last month or so I am having very spontanious black flashes in my peripheral vision. It is as if I espy a spider running across the floor only to find nothing there. Like a black willo-the-wisp.
Heavy Sparring???? Errr not me, don't do pain!!!!!
Lofty, one of the oldest myths in Rok music is the David Bowie eye saga. He actually has two blue eyes but due to a dilated and diseased eye, it looks at first glance he has odd coloured eyes. His exact condition is "mydriasis" (which I had to look up!!!!!)
Floaters are shadows which are cast on the retina by solid particles nearly everyone has some sort of floater/s from time to time particularly when looking at a bright blue sky or on a misty day and are quite normal. Check with doctor if really worried.
You are right eyeshade, but new floaters, especially accompanied by flashes, as Shadow Man describes, should be investigated. The floaters associated with vitreous detachment are different from the more common ones we all have.
