Crossroads' post and the responses reminded me of the DVD/book The Secret. I have not seen or read it, but a few months back it was being hawked on the talk shows(Oprah, etc.) The writers believe ,in simple terms, you get back what you put out into the universe. EX: If you think you'll never have money/love/nice house/good job you never will. Not sure how I feel about that. Mostly it seems like mumbo-jumbo. Anyonr seen or read it and what are your feelings on it?

Hiya, thats really weird! i have just been given that for my birthday and yes its very interesting reading, positive thinking etc, i also got the dvd but havent had the time to watch it yet. Worth a read! Brain food!

Thanks Bigmama, The day was pretty quiet. Made some dogs and burgers, nothing fancy. Getting ready for the first day of school tomorrow. I have nothing to wear and the kids will make fun of me. LOL Teaching High School is as bad as being in HS. Clothes and hair matter.

Hi there, well I hope you found something suitable to wear that will fit in rather than set the kids tittering . Hoping your day goes well.
My leak has been attended to but it hasn't rained since so will have to wait and see if it has been fixed.:-)
