P2P programs
5 Answers
I have used Imesh as my P2P program for about 18 months, but I find that it can be a slow process downloading some files because not enough users have that file.A couple of weeks ago,I thought I would give Kazaa a try,and at first thought it was excellent, but am now having doubts.Apparently,on Kazza, your priority level has a drastic effect on your download ability, and the only way to get a decent priority level is to get lots of people to upload files from me (which I have done) and after a couple of days I had a priority level of over 600 and was downloading at brilliant speeds (I have 1MB Broadband).I had not used my PC for a couple of days, but last night wanted to download a large file.I discovered my priority level had gone down to 22 and everything I wanted to download was remotely qued.Is this normal? I am now thinking of getting rid of Kazza, can anyone recomend a different P2P.Ive tried Winmx, but hated it.Ive heard Kazza Lite is good, but I cant find it anywhere.

I have used nearly all the P2P apps and found it to be the one with the most files available to share at anyone time......as has been pointed out before this is a thorny issue and everyone has their favs but I would recommend having another bash at WinMX esp. as Kazaa and Lite seem to be getting a load of flack at the minute from the RIAA so the may be in the process of being Napsterised.

Mykazaagold offer so much in the way of music and service that it is second to none! I would highly recommend http://www.mykazaagold.com to any one who needs almost free music files not only for the selection available, but because of the customer service that they are providing.
I recently bought http://www.kazaa-platinum.com .
I think it is a revolution in music & movies. Unlimited music & dvd movies at your finger tips, for just a one time 29.50 $ fee.
Also, I got free Mp3/Ipods transfer , CD burning , anti virus software, which came along.
No need to make changes in your fire walls , internet securities. Very friendly, easy to use, 24/7 technical support peace of mind.
I think this was the best choice I ever made.
