My eldest son start his first day at secondary school tomorrow and im so nervous for him i remember that first day for me and i was shi**ing myself, he says he is excited but i think he is hiding it but who knows, i know i will be crying tomorrow when dropping him off ill try not to embarrass him lol
I'm just back from dropping off my youngest on his first afternoon at school. He ran in without looking back, and started playing with his little mates! I didn't get tearful, because he's so confident. With my oldest one though, who was a little bit wobbly on his first day, I cried quite a bit. He's just gone back today, into Year 2, and was up and dressed just after 6am this morning. I'm just relieved they both love school!
my little boy had his first day at nursery today,he loved it he didnt want to leave!!! I hope my jack doesnt turn out to be like the little sh**s you get today,no consideration for anything and yes i was a kid once but i was still respectful to other people and considerate,i blame the parents half the time
I always hated the end of the school holidays. I loved having my children home, relaxed and happy. Now they have left school and are working, but teaching, so I still hate the end of the school holidays!
I saw so many parents at the school gates moaning about having their children under their feet for six weeks - not me. Ever.
Hate it ! Mad as some of you may think I am I love having my girlies around and I miss them terribly. I am also a worrier and I can't get my head round the fact that someone else is looking after them and not me. My 6 year old went in a little nervous but was fine the 4yr old charged in without a second glance and loved every minute. She fell asleep at 5 and woke up at 8 next morning!!
