i have broadband but it doesnt seem to be wireless. when i take the yellow lead out it stops working. whats the story could you please tell me.

To use broadband wirelessly you need a router or a combined modem/router to send the signal out, and a computer capable of receiving wireless.

What equipment do you have?
You are probably using an Ethernet cable which does not use wireless. If you were happy with this I would recommend you stick with this as the security is better than a wireless connection.
