I am 37 weeks pregnant with my second child, lots of probs & medical intervention with my first,so hoping for a normal delivery with this one!!Have opted for a water birth & the midwife has advised me & Mr Bex to bring in some high energy drinks & snacks with us for during labour.
Would like some suggestions, trouble is cannot stomach lucozade or red bull, any tasty alternatives & easy snacks to pack??Thanks all!!

perhaps some dextrose tablets (you can buy them in boots).

dried fruit is good, so maybe some raisins, apricots etc

cereal bars, crisps, biscuits etc were all packed in my suitcase but i think that my partner was only one to eat them.

with all that sugar you may just want to stick to water for drinking.
we took lots of bottled water, fruit, and biscuits, crackers good luck for the birth
Fresh orange juice ?
