Hi a few months back whenever i watched anything on you tube it used to load very quick and never freeze when i watched anything. Now thats Virgin has upgraded me to 20meg it takes about 4 mins to watch a 30 sec video clip why is this or is you tube thats slow ??

My mate had a similar problem.

He just switched off his PC and Virgin Cable Broadband Box at the mains (unplug from socket).
Leave for five minutes then switch on the Virgin Box and then switch on the PC in that order.

This sorted out the problem and so far has had no further problems with broadband.

It's worth a try.

Hi i do that every evening (turn everything of) its only started happening over the last few weeks now you tube becomes a pain to watch

I have the same problem. I just pause the video just after i click on it and let it buffer.It plays great after about 30 seconds.

I read somewhere that to support the 20Mb from Virgin you need a new Modem from them.

Have you checked ? or Did they send you one ?
