Immediately - as soon as you can get it booked. Bear in mind that firstly you have to resit and pass the theory test.

i know,i was in court and got 6 points but i thought that was iy until i got a letter from the dvla today saying my licence was revoked, iam gutted
Not as gutted as you would have been if you had hit or killed someone and you had no insurance (I presume your previous post was about your conviction) Losing your licence was getting away lightly.

ok grumpy, it was for no insurance but it had been cancelled without me knowing so i thought i was legal
It's 12 points for a ban, I should know :)
Myriad - not in the first two years of holding a full licence - then it is 6 points and your licence is revoked.
Well you learn something new every day
Dont get confuse, Myriad, with being disqualified (which usually follows 12 points) and having your full licence revoked (which is applied to new drivers with six points and is what has happened to bay72).

Revocation does not mean you cannot drive, but that you revert to provisional licence status.
